Surviving China's Uyghur camps May 27, 2019

In China’s northwestern Xinjiang region, more than a million ethnic Uyghurs are believed to be held in internment camps. 
The authorities call them "re-education through labor camps", but victims say the reality is forced indoctrination for Uyghurs held in alarming conditions. 
From China to Canada, via Turkey and France, reporters from FRANCE 24 investigated the plight of the Uyghurs and gathered rare testimony.
