Ethnic indigenous Catholics in seven parishes in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) make up the majority in southeastern Chittagong Archdiocese of Bangladesh. They embraced Catholic Christianity some 70 years ago. Most of them live in remote and scattered villages in abject poverty, but continue to keep their faith alive amid adversities of life.
