Heavy rains in Sumatra triggered landslides over the weekend which killed at least 16 people and left 10 others missing.
Eleven people including three children were found dead, buried beneath mud and rocks in a mountainous part of West Sumatra province on Sunday morning.
Another landslide killed five workers on Saturday at a drilling site in Jambi province.
“We have deployed heavy equipment in order to search for victims who are thought to be still buried in the debris,” Bambang Warsito of the Regional Disaster Management Ageney told reporters.
He added that people affected by the landslide are now in urgent need of medicine, clothes and shelter.
