INDIA: Church people in Kerala are mourning the loss of a recently ordained priest who was killed in  a road accident. Norbertine Father Joby Vettukallingal, 31,  died when his motorcycle collided with a truck at Kolagappara in Mananthavady diocese on Jan. 13. He was the first priest from Marakadavu parish in the diocese and was ordained on Jan. 4. “His demise is a great shock to the congregation and a great loss to the Church,” said Norbertine Father Jose Anthanattu. “We are so sad… We celebrated his ordination only last week,” said Raju Chovattukunnel, a Catholic from the parish.
