Vietnam's impressive churches put on a show

Catholics in Vietnam make efforts to bring Christian values into building many churches with old architectural styles. Churches have curved roofs and triple doors and are decorated with designs of ancient brass drums, flowers and statues of dragons, lions and other animals.

Catholics use paintings and statues with Vietnamese features and make sculptures bearing Latin and traditional Chinese characters. Both languages were used in the past.
