Four streets around St. Joseph Cathedral in capital Hanoi were packed with 10,000 Catholics observing the feast of Corpus Christi in a solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament on June 19. People in colorful clothes raised flags and flowers, sang hymns, and played trumpets and drums while the Blessed Sacrament was placed on an altar atop a vehicle. This was billed as the largest public procession held by the archdiocese since 1953.
