Timor-Leste currently has only two state prisons, one in Dili and one in Gleno in the district of Ermera. Dili prison is the largest with more than 560 inmates, while Gleno prison has only 90 inmates.
The prison management, particular in Gleno, feels the call to prepare the prisoners to become better humans, once they have finished their jail term. So they train them with necessary skills and help them grow spiritually.
