Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Pope Francis to visit India — a significant move by the Hindu-majority country. Modi invited Francis during an Oct. 30 private audience at the Vatican on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome. The pope has long been keen to visit India.
