Cyclone Amphan ravages eastern India

More than 1 million people have lost their homes, crops and livestock after a powerful cyclone ravaged the eastern Indian coast on May 20. Super Cyclone Amphan also caused widespread damage in Bangladesh. In India, Baruipur Diocese in West Bengal state was badly affected by the cyclone, which killed 86 people in India.
