About 1,500 Catholics in Rajshahi Diocese of Bangladesh joined celebrations to mark the centenary of the migration of Bengali Catholics from Bhawal region of Dhaka Archdiocese on May 27-28. Bishop Gervas Rozario of Rajshahi attended the programs at St. Rita’s Church in Pabna district that included spiritual devotion, a special Mass, cultural events, cutting of a cake and lighting candles.
