Bishop Paul Kazuhiro Mori was born in Yokohama on Dec. 10, 1938. He took the perpetual vows as a member of the Order of Discalced Carmelites on March 25, 1962. He was ordained a priest of the order on March 11, 1967. In 1977, he was incardinated as priest of Tokyo archdiocese. On Dec. 3, 1984, Pope John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop of Tokyo. He was ordained bishop on Feb. 23, 1985. On May 10, 2000, he resigned.
