Bishop John Baptist Ruowang of the underground community was appointed by the Holy See as Bishop of Tianshui in 2011 at the age around 50. His eldest brother is retired Bishop Casmirus Wang Milu and his third brother is former diocesan administrator Father Wang Ruohan
