Paul Ji Zengwei was born on July 13, 1968. He was ordained priest on April 24, 1994. Father Ji Zengwei was ordained Bishop of the Diocese of Chengdu on July 5, 2004, by Augustine Hu Daguo, the then Bishop of the Roman Catholic Apostolic Prefecture of Shiqian.
