Augustine Cui Tai was born in the year 1950, in Zhangjiakou, in northwestern Hebei Province. He was ordained priest in the year 1990. Father Cui Tai was ordained the Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Xuanhua in northwestern Hebei Province, on April 7, 2013.
