VIETNAM: Local Salesians are preparing to welcome Saint John Bosco’s relics to Vietnam as part of a world tour to mark his 200th birth anniversary.

“50 people plan to receive Saint Bosco’s relics at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Jan. 16,” Salesian Father Peter Pham Van Chinh said.

The relics placed in a casket, monstrance and statue will visit local Salesians’ headquarters, parishes and vocational centers based in Ho Chi Minh City and in Ba Ria, Da Lat and Xuan Loc dioceses.
