Trust launched to help poor students in Bangladesh

”Our dream is to promote education, culture and health care among poor meritorious students irrespective of caste, creed, and ethnicity by giving first priority to Baraigram sub-district in Natore district,” said Shyamol Hilarius Costa, the mastermind behind the trust.
During the launch attended by 5,000 people, the SBT based in Jonail Union of Baraigram sub-district, presented prizes to 70 students from various local schools who obtained the highest grade golden GPA of 5 in the recent public examination.
A group of 11 people, including eight Catholics, last year formed the voluntary trust in northwestern Bangladesh.
