Priest leads way to Osama's last hideout

Local father discovers the back route through security cordon

The ingenuity and local knowledge of a Christian priest in the now-famous town of Abbotabad was pivotal in enabling ucanews.com to penetrate the security cordon around the dead al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's hideout. Despite the presence of hostile and heavily armed poice and army, Father Akram Javed Gill of Abbotabad Church took the intiative and guided ucanews.com's reporter Kamran Chaudhry through difficult terrain so he could file. Read more about Kamran's journey in his report here.
