Boxing sensation and politician, Manny Pacquiao, said he is confident God is on his side as he started high altitude training today in preparation for a June world title fight in Las Vegas. The first eight-time world champion has become an unofficial "Bible ambassador" after claiming to have found God and turned his back on ‘sinful living’. "Nothing has changed and I am still focused on my training, although I am happier because I have God with me," Pacquiao told reporters in Baguio. He was supposed to start his training camp on Monday but stayed on in Manila for "Bible classes." He has vowed to give a biblical quote every time he talks to reporters. Quoting Matthew 7: 26, Pacquiao said: "But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand." He said that with sport and God on his side he will not answer questions related to politics. Pacquiao also sits as a representative of his province in the Philippine Congress. The Filipino champion is preparing for a June 9 world-title fight against Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
