"Killing in the name of God is satanic!"
So said Pope Francis on Sept. 14 at a Mass during which he pretty much de facto beatified Father Jacques Hamel, the French priest killed by two radicalized Muslim youths last July while celebrating the Eucharist.
"We must pray to him, he’s a martyr! And the martyrs are blessed, so we must pray to him," the pope said.
