Don Bosco training facility opens

The Don Bosco Institute's technical and vocational training complex in southern Kathmandu was inaugurated on March 3.
Training departments include office management, fashion design and dressmaking, electronics, electrical maintenance, welding and fabrication and computing.
One year and six month courses will run from June 2012.
A hostel at the complex can house some 100 boys and girls from remote villages.
The institute will also have a job placement department. Some 300 youths aged 15 to 25 years are expected to benefit from the vocational training offered this year.
