Conjoined twin dies after surgery

One of the conjoined twins separated by a team of Australian and Indian doctors on June 20 has died in hospital in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Aradhana Yadav, who contracted septicemia following surgery, died of heart failure yesterday three days after her first birthday. Her sister Stuti, however, is doing well, doctors said.
Staff at Padhar Mission Hospital in Betul district who had taken care of the twins for over a year said they were crestfallen.
Hospital administrator Rajiv Chaudhary, said the team of doctors did everything possible but could not save Aradhana, who was weaker than her sibling.
