BANGLADESH: Hundreds of Religious, Catholics and laypeople in southeastern Chittagong diocese gathered Jan. 23 at St. Placid’s High School to thank their former Holy Cross Bishop Patrick D’Rozario. “He was a man of prayer,” said Sister Gabriella Rebeiro from Our Lady of the Missions congregation. During his 15-year tenure, Bishop D’Rozario implemented major infrastructural developments besides providing pastoral and sacramental care, Catholics said. Pope Benedict XVI appointed Bishop D’Rozario as coadjutor archbishop of Dhaka on Nov. 25. BA13005.1638
