Joseph Nagar: the town built by a Franciscan

Franciscan Father Pius started a Christian community near Bilaspur in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in the 1950s. He called it Joseph Nagar and gave smallholdings free of charge to laborers and their families. The project has had its ups and downs but is now thriving again, inspired by the recently arrived Fr Justin.
