Bombing suspect gets eight years
The district court today sentenced Zulkifli Lubis to eight years in prison for a bomb attack at Christ the King Church in Sukoharjo district in 2010.
Lubis was charged with collaborating with seven others by acquiring materials for the purposes of terrorism.
He was among eight defendants allegedly involved in the plot on December 7, 2010. None were killed or injured in thie attack.
A second defendant, identified as Zakim, was previously sentenced to five years in prison for his participation in the plot.
