Team completes annotated Bible
Hopes that new bible will bring God's message close to 'minds and hearts'
A translation team last week announced the completion of a new Vietnamese language bible with full annotations and footnotes after more than 11 years of labor.
Franciscan Father Pascal Nguyen Ngoc Tinh, coordinator of the Liturgy of the Hours Translation Team, based in Ho Chi Minh City, said the new bible – running to about 2,800 pages – was published last month by the state-run Religious Publishing House.
