The secretary of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, Mgr Paul Tighe, recently attended a seminar in India on the role of new media and communications in seminary formation. (Vatican Radio)
The four-day meeting in Calcutta included talks as well as practical training sessions and began with a Mass at the tomb of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
Msg Tighe told Philippa Hitchen about the goals of the seminar and why the ‘saint of the gutter’ can be seen as an icon for the world of media and communications.
