Church officials believe happy people will take pro-life issues seriously if it is done with a smile.

That’s why the Catholic bishops’ conference today launched a new campaign against the Reproductive Health (RH) Bill pending in Congress with “smiley face” pro-life stickers that say: “I Am Pro-Life, I Am Anti RH Bill”.

Conference secretary-general, Monsignor Juanito Figura, said the Church decided to use a smiling image for the campaign because it is doing its mission to promote the Gospel of Life with a smile.

“We will use stickers that are friendly because we are actually not against anybody in particular, not against any group in particular but against the RH Bill,” he said.
