Seminarians ‘must embrace’ spirituality

Seminarians must decide on a spirituality in order to foster their vocation, said a Jesuit priest yesterday.
“Choose a spirituality you want to live up to. Then embrace it,” Father Agustinus Setyodarmono told 280 seminarians attending a gathering at St. Peter Canisius Minor Seminary in Magelang.
Seminarians from Jakarta and Semarang archdioceses, as well as dioceses of Bogor, Denpasar, Malang and Surabaya, attended the four-day meeting that organizers said was to help seminarians get to know each other.
“Wherever they come from, they should work together in developing the Church in Indonesia when they become priests,” said Father Antonius Saptanahadi, the minor seminary’s spiritual director.
