Students help with relief aid
Eighty-two Catholic students from St. Peter’s School in Betun, Atambua, are offering relief aid to hundreds of families affected by flooding in the region.
They distributed clothes, basic necessities and money to 176 families staying in evacuation camps in three different sites, on Wednesday.
One student, Maria Yovita Uduk, pointed out that their gesture was an expression of their care for others.
The area has been affected by flooding because of heavy rains in the past few months.
