Jamboree to mold young Catholics

Hundreds of young Catholics join youth jamboree
An Indonesian parish is conducting a jamboree to help young Catholics be service minded.
About 750 Catholics are attending the event at St. Gregory Church in Borong, East Nusa Tenggara, May 31-June 5. Staying in tents, they are taking part in singing competitions, games and a handicrafts exhibition.
“This jamboree aims to mold the characters of the young people so that they can continue serving and be honest,” said Father Benediktus Jaya.
The other 29 parishes in Ruteng diocese are also holding a similar jamboree taking place the same time.
